Tango Floraux

Ernesto Nazareth (1863 – 1934) was a Brazilian composer and pianist who combined two cultures in his music; the Western European tradition and the Afro-Brazilian culture. He was often thought of as the "Brazilian Scott Joplin".

Nazareth converted his dual heritage into the Tango Brasileiro. Of his 200 piano pieces most are tango brasileiros, choros, waltzes and polkas.

The Tango Floraux, also a Tango Brasiliero, is one of his best known pieces.

The arrangement consists of a score, parts for piano, violin 1, violin 2, and cello.
