Enrico Toselli was a pianist and composer of noble birth. As Count of Montignoso he preformed on many stages in Italy, European capitals and North America.
As a true romantic (and Italian) he was quite liberal when it came to marital fidelity. Nowadays he is more remembered for his escapades with the Archduchess Louise of Austria then his beautiful compositions. Which is a shame, for anyone can commit adultery, but there are only a few gifted pianists and composers.
Try to stay cool when Enrico brings his last serenade to your window .....
