Lambeth Walk

$7.50

The Lambeth Walk is a song from the musical Me and My Girl, which premiered in London in 1937. It became a resounding success.

As the signs of impending doom became increasingly visible, the average European was more concerned about the Lambeth Walk dance moves than politics. It made the Times in 1938 sigh: "While dictators rage and statesmen talk, all Europe dances - to The Lambeth Walk."

But all are forgiven. Because what a delightful song. Recorded by numerous greats, including none other than Duke Ellington. Or watch this legendary rendition

Here in a beautiful arrangement for piano quartet. Parts for piano, violin 1, violin 2 and cello, of course with a score.
