The Teddy Bears' Picnic
$6.50
In 1907, TheTeddy Bears’ Picnic was composed by the American composer John Walter Bratton. As an instrumental piece, it lacked the catchy lyrics we know for more than two and a half decades. In 1932, the Irish songwriter Jimmy Kennedy added the well know lyrics, and the song became a popular children’s song.
If you go down to the woods today
You're sure of a big surprise.
If you go down to the woods today
You'd better go in disguise!
For every bear that ever there was
Will gather there for certain,
Because today's the day the
Teddy Bears have their picnic.
Picnic time for Teddy Bears
The little Teddy Bears are having a lovely time today.
Watch them, catch them unawares,
And see them picnic on their holiday.
