The Love Nest

$6.50

The Love Nest is a “breezy” song from the musical Mary. The musical - originally called The House that Jack Built – tells us the story of Jack, an architect who has the luminous idea of building moveable homes that he calls Love Nests. After fruitlessly pursuing a lustful divorcée, Jack falls in love with his mother’s sweet and simple secretary Mary. Everything turns for the better. Jack strikes gold with his moveable houses and therefore is able to build a house with a complete lack of movability for his sweet Mary and himself.

Music by Louis A. Hirsch, lyrics by Otto Harbach.

Breeze along now with this lovely song, skilfully arranged for string quartet by Arjan van der Boom. Parts and score for violin 1 & 2, viola and cello. The viola part is also provided as 3rd violin.
